FX-9590 in NZXT Phantom full tower case red cpu temp problem help please

or if you can afford the H110i GT or Coolermaster nepton 280L, or H100i GTX.
Not sure how much more expensive those are.

Looked around gonna go with the H100I GTX :)

Good choice. Please update when you get it installed. I'm curious to see the results.

Would consider a air cooler ( or better watercooler )
my experience with the H100i was quite bad, stock fans where noisy and pump was noisy too

I would go for the liqmax 240 or a H110

H100i GTX is the new and "improved" version of the previous H100i.
I think they have made it a bit better, atleast they have improved the pump.
Fans can allways be swapped if needed.

EKWB is taking pre-orders for their new AIO...........

UPDATE:

i have moved the top fan to the side and put H100i gtx cooling in with rad and fans at top with fans on intake, moved front fan to rear as exhause and large fan to side for intake as seen in pic temps are still high as when i took pic i had turned pc on been on about 30 mins and not use nothing apart from internet???

also used ARTIC SILVER 5 thermal paste

60c isent that high for 4.7Ghz allso use AMD overdrive to see the temp's its the only aqurate way to see the chips temps at load (but not at idle)

Atlest you are no longer throttleing down to 1Ghz

get a new cooler. h80i and up.

@lettuceel Read post #27. He bought a H100i gtx.

now high temp is 66c

67c

Remeber Arctic Silver takes time to 'go off'
Important Reminder:
Due to the unique shape and sizes of the particles in Arctic Silver 5's conductive matrix, it will take a up to 200 hours and several thermal cycles to achieve maximum particle to particle thermal conduction and for the heatsink to CPU interface to reach maximum conductivity.....(it takes time to be at its best)

This is why i allways use MX-4

It gos off faster due to it being carbon and not metal and its actualy better

thanks for that info.

I still dont understand y it would be reaching hight 60's under light work like playing a game and streaming on twitch and hitting like 66-68c when all is running ok and wired up ok im just abit lost lol

That chip is basically a very overclocked FX 8350 so it gets HOT hell it runs with 1.5v's running through it.
