Fusion ioDrive2 PCI Slot Weirdness

For context, I have a i5-11600K in a MSI Z590 Pro Wifi Motherboard with a single M.2 NVME SSD and 6 SATA HDDs.

I ordered two Fusion ioDrive2’s, I had no problem setting up the first drive with snuf’s foss driver.

But once I installed the second drive I’m constantly warned that “The bandwidth of the PCI slot is not optimal for the ioMemory”.

I installed the first drive to the slot that’s linked to the chipset without issue, but the slot linked to the CPU seems to be tripping up somehow.

Can anyone give me some insight into why this is happening?

What’s your OS?

Ubuntu 21.04

This is what lspci displays for the card.

Can this be fixed by the bios? Or am I just hitting a bandwidth limit?
