My friend isnt much of a gamer he likes to play civ 5 and world at war zombies, 2 games that take no real graphics. He does want it to be fast so this is what he has come up with

Did you mean to not put a GPU? If you did then I would get an A10 7850k APU and higher seed ram and a lower wattage PSU, if you did mean to put a GPU and if your friend doesnt want do do much heavy gaming then I would get either an Athlon x4 760k and a GTX 760 or if he doesnt have that much of a budget then get like a 7790 or something
no he wants a fast proccesor and mid end gpu LOOK AT THE CUSTOM PART I PUT IN A R9 265X
