Friend cannot sign into windows 11 after bios update

I have a friend and his PC stopped connecting to the internet after a brownout last night. We did a bios update first because he said he already troubleshot the drivers on windows 11 (skytech pre-built). Bios update was successful but when we get to the login screen it says please connect to internet to sign in. The original reason for bios update was to see if it had new drivers for LAN port or wifi. He had no internet to sign in and command prompt does not work to get around it. Any ideas? His computer is the only device in the apartment not connecting to wifi or ethernet out of 2 other PCs included in that.

does it show ‘add drivers’ or some such? if so download the ethernet adapter driver for his machine and put it on a usb stick. point browse to it and it should pick right up. it is the .inf file you want specifically. i assume the motherboard does not have a restore bios button on the back?

Is was fine connecting last night but brownout made the pc boot and shutdown a few times. But the bios update did not fix the internet connection issue and now when he goes to sign into windows it says he cannot continue without internet connected. Command prompt will not work to get around it.

safeboot also does not work because it still askes for internet to sign in.

Fixed it. We were able to find an old restore point and fix the corrupted windows 11. Self five
