This is the first computer case I've had without a window. So I had to find out something I could do to make up for the lack of flashiness. With the help from some fellow form members and a great amount of help and patience from Peps1, I was able to finish an LED mod in a Fractal Design Define R4. I could have used LED strips but I was able to make the wires the exact length I needed and such. Plus I had fun putting in alittle extra work. It's not shown in these pictures but the white R4 comes with a red power light, which I changed to a white one. (Looks much better and doesn't bleed though the plastic.) Pictures below!
First test with the custom light strip. Took Forever.. I connected everything to a 3 pin connector that I cut off of an old case fan. I actually got all the wire for this project from an old 90's PSU and I just cut off all the leads.
Next I installed the LED's into the front of the case, there is tons of room for them to fit and I just used alittle bit of hot glue to hold them all in place.
Then it was time for the fun part, I'll take some better pictures once the build is completely done but here it is with the lights off and all installed in the case. I thought it turned out pretty awesome if I do say so myself.

Door Opened.
Thanks for all the help guys. Can't wait to finish this rig and put it all back together.
