What is the thoughts on using my pfsense router to do folding @ home ?
Processor is an i5 with 12 GB of memory and a gtx710 for graphics card.
With that hardware you would not get much points so I would say save yourself the trouble.

Folding@Home connects with the Internet, increasing the attack surface of the pfSense box. I think it is meant to be run alone on whatever system it is on and nothing else.
