Flex 140 pricing

I finally got a price for a few Intel Flex 140s. But they included special fans and cables. I was SURE that wasn’t required for that model. I’m waiting to hear back but I wanted to ping you guys because while we are a K-12 institution I don’t think we got much of a discount I think this is probably a price everyone could get.

The quote was received from Dell.

That seems to be about the price it was at when it was released―before the prices went up. I would buy, but I did not know about the fan requirement. Is it really required if it’s a passive 75-watt GPU?

I doubt it, but I’m waiting for clarification. I assume they were thinking of the 170 but when I hear back I will share.
