Firefox favicon bug

Is the favicon for the forums broken or is that just me?

It’s just you… What does it look like?

It’s the default for Firefox. I just tried re-adding it and it’s still the same. It changed after the most recent maintenance.

Where is it your seeing this? Pined tab or something else?

It’s part of my bookmarks toolbar.

Maybe its a cache issue on your browser? Same issue in an incognito window?

not just you, been that way a while

yall remember when the christmas logo stayed on the mobile site for like 6 months

I cleared everything and it’s still there. It remains unseen in incognito as well.

Been like that for forever.

  • Linux 4.17.10-1-ARCH
  • Firefox 61.0.1 (64-bit)

Im currently on Fx 63, on Windows. Maybe that’s why im not having issues.

No issues with Fx 61 on Windows either.

Tried clearing cache?

I’m also on the latest version of Windows 10 Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134

Funny enough it works in bookmarks bar…

I tried cleaning cache earlier. (Again had this issue for forever. Reddit logo on L1T especially triggered me) Never helped. I even had a reinstall and it was same after that.

Firefox is not finding a favicon on the forum. i did try seeing if it loads, i tried to load https://forum.level1techs.com/favicon.ico but nothing came back

anything i can do to get a bookmark icon to load?

EDIT: FF 63.0.3 (64-bit)

Here/s the url for the favicon

https://forum.level1techs.com/favicon/proxied?https%3A%2F%2Flevel1techs.com%2Fsites%2Fdefault%2Ffiles%2Ffavicon_0_0.ico

Note: it shows up just fine for me, and I use firefox. v63.0.3

Maybe it could have something to do with the HTML for the favicon:

<link rel="icon" type="image/png" href="https://level1techs.com/sites/default/files/favicon_0_0.ico">

and

<link rel="icon" type="image/png" sizes="144x144" href="/uploads/default/original/1X/d44ec94ff117b29baae013642e8d542ed519ac62.png">

The former has an incorrect type attribute, while the latter just 404s.
