I wanted to monitor the power consumption of my Intel Arc card, so I was looking into Thermal Grizzly’s Wire View GPU connector. However I can’t seem to figure out which connector type is appropriate for me. Intel uses 1x8 pin and 1x6 pin connectors.
In my rig the card is installed using 2x8 pin connectors, where the 2nd 1x8 pin connector has a 1x(6+2) split, so the last 2 pins are just hanging out. Does that mean I should pick the 2x8 pin version of Wire View? I’m not sure if the last 2 pins are separable like in my cable.
Thoughts? Ideas?
