Finding Just the Rack Tray for a Lanner FW-7541

I currently own this Lanner FW-7541C as my home router:

I wrote a whole tutorial on getting Void Linux (or any Linux really) setup on it via serial cable:

Anyway, I want to put it in my rackmount. I could just bolt it to a shelf, but Lanner did make a rackmount kit for this thing. Trouble is, I can’t find it by itself, and the device I paid $70 for back in 2021 is now going for $135:

I’m thinking about measuring out where the bolt holes are and trying to draw two sides I can 3D print, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any places where the original/metal one might still be sourced from?

the part number appears to be PN9NSFG71Z10A
and industrialtrading.net has a page to request a quote, but i imagine it wont be cheap.

good luck, but i would probably just buy a generic 1u shelf on amazon and velcro it in place.

Velco feels janky.

I agree with drilling holes but ideally the screw should be flush against the shelf itself. So you’re gonna need a screw with a flat top and an inverted triangular screw head. I dont know how to tap that though.

im not saying youre wrong, but if you mount it at top of rack, no one has to see it.
