When I opened the YouTube site today i was greeted with an information that the new UI is available.
Previously I had to use Chrome to enable native dark mode or use 3rd party extensions.
This change is great for me personally and I just wanted to share my excitement xD

Dark Reader is the best I’ve found so far. Seems to work well with the majority of sites. https://darkreader.org/
And then there’s shadowfox, which does a good job of stopping Firefox from flash banging your eyes itself. https://overdodactyl.github.io/ShadowFox/

I’ve been using Youtube native dark mode with Firefox for probably over a year now.

How come? Did you spoof the site to think you’re on chromium?
The feature has been around a long time, and isn’t browser-specific.

No, I don’t really recall what I did originally but I’ve been using it since it was announced in 2018 iirc.
