Its a pretty awesome board. While it may be cheap it is cherry switches and uses an aluminum alloy housing. I do not look forward to the mx black switches. I really prefer tactile feel of the blues. But how could I resist a mechanical keyboard for under $40. What can I do to help myself? I have some old (pre 2000) rubber domes and an apple keyboard that I would call semi mechanical that seem more tactile than the last pair of blacks I tried. If all goes to shit I'll trade it for a cheap buckling spring board.
Regardless id like to hear any "don't pull your ram out wile the system is running" type suggestions for it !
I have blues and wouldn't trade them for anything. I have never tried blacks, but they are supposed to be the most stiff. If you are a heavy typist then you will love them to death.
you get to sample each switch, see which one you like best, and when you purchase a cm keyboard, you get $15 off. So, it's like getting a free switch sampler if you purchase a cm keyboard afterward.
Well all I have to say is green master race, I love my greens and I dont personally feel they are to light, I havent tried any other types, but next time I might go for blacks. but I do love my greens, so who knows, I think this keyboard is gonna last a while anyways.
