Hey I just wanted to form a little discussion on video game art.
I thought about changing my desktop wallpaper with some environment concept art. So, I googled for some. But I had this thought at the back of my mind that I know I have seen better before. I just can't recall. So now I'm here to ask you guys what pieces of visual art have you really liked so far.
What really got me going was the concept art from the metroid games.
Back in 2010 when I bought the Metroid Prime Deluxe edition, it came with the best concept art booket I've ever owned, and I own Dark Souls' as well as several other visually brilliant games...
Xenoblade comes to mind when you mention game art
Fallout 3 artwork pierced right through my heart.

Another one of my favorites, StarCraft 2: WoL, wallpaper taken from cinematic ingame event.
I'm sorry for ginormous pictures/wallpapers.
Some times I may even enjoy the artwork more than the game itself.
