But now it seems like the cintroller has 4 pins, while the fans have only three. So, these products are not compatible are they?
Nope, they are not.
Long story short - there are 2 types of RGB in general. Your controller is a standard RGB signal based, meaning a signal for each color and a ground wire, so 4 wires.
Your fans on the other hand is ARGB, meaning addressable RGB. I am not sure how it works, but you can literally set every LED light in different color.
They are completely different electrically so you can’t combine them.
Any controller you could recommend? I would like to avoid something like extra software (e.g. NZXT CAM)

Honestly I don’t use any RGB in my system. I have 2 led strips, bit I have literally set them to white light when I bought them and haven’t touched them since.
