Have any of you guys heard of the Factory Five GTM. I think it is an amazing deal for what it costs. I don’t really understand why it is not more popular, other than the fact people are too lazy to build a kit car.
What do you guys think of it?

Its an oddly placed product. Most folks who have that kind of money to spend on a fun car aren't willing or able to spend the time to assemble and test everything. Plus the space and tool investment. Or theyre spending that money one something that has more history and or holds its value.
Yeah looks nice and all but... 55k. I have plans to build a kit car eventually but can't afford it yet and no space to do so. So that could be part of the reason. Next reason is that we are seeing more and more people who are lucky to know how to fill the tank let alone tell you what a dipstick is for...
I do like factory five, at least from what I've read they're high quality, etc. But with that comes a steep price. Most people building kit cars are going to want to build something like a Cobra, Corvette, GT, old Ferrari, etc.; not a car like this (I mean, I would like to build one like this, but I'm not most people).
That's what is cool about those kit cars. If you are willing to put in the work you can fit any engine into the car. These cars are based on a C5 Corvette (suspension, hubs, wheels, etc.) The sky is the limit!
