Experience with RevoDrive PCI-E SSD

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with some of the older RevoDrives. I'm considering buying one of these for my incoming storage upgrade. I know when they first came out, they were blistering fast, and am curious if they still hold that. The one I am looking at is linked below, and has the Sandforce 2100 in it.

As a note, I am running a AMD FX 8-core CPU, and an Asus M5A99x EVO R2.0

Never used them, but I want a PCIe SSD, particularly a FusionIO Octal, but I don't have the dough :(

I believe asus is coming out with a super flashy rog one soon. I dont know the price, but it sounds like a cool investment. Its supposedly 1.5-2 times faster than other PCIe ssds.

Question is, what the cost might be...I currently have a budget between 100 and 200 USD.

Well, apparently the price is about $1.30 per gb on the 120gb model, and a bit more for the 240. So i would assume around $150-160 for the 120gb, and around $280-300 for the 240.
