Ewww.......Dog peed on my PC. Tips on Cleaning Case?

Hello,

My dog peed on my pc while I was away and the computer was off and was wondering if you guys recommend any tips on cleaning the case. I tried cleaning it and still the smell there, and I think the plastic absorbed the odor. Luck me the pc was off and the hardware did not  get damaged :)

Off topic: I might order a new case since this one is bit damaged from when I bought it and could not take it back because I waited to long (Customer service wont cover it, avoid NZXT for that reason) I might buy Fractal Design R4 for $80.

Time to get rid of the dog.  That really sucks.

Regarding your OT, though, I'm confused as to why NZXT should be avoided.  By your own admission you waited too long to take it back to wherever you bought it, and whatever damage you're talking about likely wouldn't be covered under warranty as it's not due to a manufacturing defect.  You'll find the same is true of almost all warranties, including the one for the Fractal Design R4 you're considering.

When I first built my first rig. I bought each part separately (which is think now was a bad idea) I keep on contacting them but they refuse sending me a replacement. I been contacting them for months and it was just back and forth. Unfortunately I can't get rid of the dog, had him for to long to just throw him on the curve.

That sucks.

I was being facetious.

My dog peed on my case once too. I used ammonia to get rid of the smell. I would probably test in a discrete location first to make sure your paint won't melt off... My case was just fine though (CM Storm Scout), I'd still test though to be on the safe side.

Thank you for the reply, I can always count on this community. Weird topic I know, but I got lucky the to mess filter absorbed the urine. I used vinegar for the smell and took apart the mess parts, but in process of cleaning the fan, one of the fins broke.(I have the worse luck lol)

lol, bad day so I could not tell who is playing around or not. Thank you for the reply :)
