Hi! After about 20 years I decided that it was finally time for me to start carrying around a USB stick because I’ve found myself in need of one without having it on me. But, in order to do so, I’d like to have an encrypted volume on it that can be accessed on both Windows and Linux machine to keep my personal files separated from all the other files I might need to share or don’t care about.
I remember trying Veracrypt years ago, but it needs a desktop application to mount the volume or unlock the encrypted file it can create inside the drive. That would defeat the purpose of having one because I would not be able to decrypt it if I need to.
How would you tackle this?
