ECC RAM Suggestions for Ryzen-based server?

I am wanting to put more memory into my desktop, and server. Currently both of them are each running a kit of G.SKILL Trident Z Neo.

I was thinking that if I got (hopefully) compatible ECC memory for less than or equal to the cost of buying two more of those kits, I would rather go down that route. Then I’d have the stability of ECC in my server. After that, I can move that kit to my desktop and be back to where I was.

The server is running an X570S AORUS PRO AX motherboard and a 3900x. Looks like it also supports up to 128GB.

Make sure your motherboard actually supports ECC

It says it does, depending on the CPU. There are even some compatible options in the memory list on the mobo’s webpage.

I looked up other builds and it looks like the 3900x should work as well.
