I’m having an annoying issue in Linux Ubuntu. One of the Ethernet ports on my Asus Z97-WS motherboard is not functioning like the other, and I’m wondering if anyone can tell me what’s going on. The 2x ports, the 1x Intel I218-LM (seems to be working just fine), and the 1x Intel I210-AT (which is NOT working like the other).
The issue I’m running into specifically is a shared Internet connection from another computer running Mac OS, going through a router, to the PC with the Asus Z97-WS motherboard with the 2x Ethernet ports. The port is detected, but Internet is not for whatever reason. I do not have this issue with the other port, where it’s simply just plug it in, and it/everything works/no issues/problems.
Edit- just checked, I am not having this issue in Windows, or macOS. It is soley an issue in/with Ubuntu Linux.
