Drive/Networking Speeds Suddently Terrible on TrueNAS System

I have a 4 drive HexOS system where all drives are connected directly to the motherboard. This system runs a local Plex server. The server is connected at 2.5Gbps using the motherboards built-in NIC.

I am trying to narrow down where the issue is, here is what I tested so far:

  • Rebooted HexOS server
  • Shut Down HexOS server and turned off the powered supply and unplugged it.
  • Tried a different switch port on different switch with different patch cable
  • Tried USB NIC, but not supported.
  • Unifi switch does not report any transmit errors on the port the HexOS system is connected to.

When attempting to either read or write to the HexOS server speeds hover around 300 to 600 kbps.

All devices are connected at 2.5Gbps and up until now, transfered at those speeds. When listening to the drives during an attempted transfer they do not “spin up” as I would expected when trying to read or write a file.

All 4 drives are detected on the system and no issues with them are reported.

Below is a system usage from the server, historically, the RAM usage would site close to 100% usage, which I believe is by design with TrueNAS. However, as you can see it no where near that right now, which leads me to believe it is something with the drives.

Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated.

For those who may find this in the future, the issue appears to be an inter-vlan routing issue. I am opening a ticket with Unifi support and will update if they provide any useful information.
