My RAM is at 1866mhz, but is also 1.65v. I would like to know whether or not downclocking the RAM speed will also downclock the voltage? (probably simple but I like to be as sure as is possible)
Unless it has an XMP profile for different speeds, I dont think the voltage will change. You can set the voltage yourself though.
As you set a lower voltage, you can also lower the timings and bring your cas latency down 1-2. 1600MHz w/ 7-8 cas latency is pretty damn fast.
