I'd say its a toss up between the msi and evga cards. if you are doing any rendering, go evga for cuda. If it's just for gaming, save the cash and get the msi twinfrozr. Both of them are good cards though.
The Sapphire Radeon 7870 XT that Hopperbus recommended is most likely your best choice if you have nothing against AMD or Sapphire. The Sapphire Radeon 7870 XT is actually based on the same series processor architecture (Tahiti) as the Radeon 79XX series and could thus be named a Radeon 7930, but AMD is being sneaky again. Anyway, it is actually outperforming the Radeon 7950's at the moment and is an excellent value for the money as the Radeon 7950's are readily competing with the Geforce660 Ti and Geforce 670. For the additional $40, I could not think of a better card, and the cooler on the Sapphire card is a beast.
what about this card i read a lot of good things about it and a lot of people say it never goes over 60con full load. just want to know what to go with for gaming
