Does my mobo support gigabit speeds?

Google Fiber was announced to come to my city a few weeks ago and I've been pumped ever since. I took a step back and wondered if my mobo even supported gigabit speeds. I know i could just get an ethernet card but I don't wanna take up another pci slot.

yes that motherboard supports 1 GB lan, the onboard lan chip supports 1 gigabit speeds

every mobo i've seen supports gbit LAN. make sure your running cat5e, cat6, or cat 6A ethernet cables. cat5 only goes up to 100mbit, and WILL bottleneck gbit.
