Does anyone here hace experience with the HPE R1500 G5 UPS?

Hi everyone, I want to replace my Eaton Ellipse Pro 850 with a rack mountable option. I stumbled upon the HPE R1500 G5 model which can be had for a rather small amount of money on ebay, including the comms module (NMC 871474-001) for around 300 €. A set of replacement batteries start at around 100 €.

Does any of you have some experience with that model?

  1. Is it reliable?
  2. Can it be monitored by NUT?
  3. Anything else I should be aware of?

From what I’ve seen so far (dimensions, visual impression) that device is a HPE labeled EATON 5P.
As this is too deep for my rack, I will look for something else.
