I just bought a Dell Optiplex 5055 with the specs below :
CPU : Ryzen 5 pro 2400G
Ram : 8GB 2400mhz
ssd : 500GB gen 3 nvme
and I want to buy rdimms but I cant figure it out if i can use ECC or should I buy normal dimms ?
can anyone help me ?
you need udimm ECC not rdimms
so if the ram says registered dimm that mean i wont work ! but if it says unbuffered ecc it will work right ?
Generally Udimm ECC should work with the pro, but the mobo matters too for actual support.
