Everyone should stop watching that guy, he has no scruples. All he cares is making money. I’m very capitalistic myself, but I don’t try to scam people out of their money and I don’t take sponsorships from shady businesses. I’m pretty sure he’s watching this forum and if he is reading this, he should be ashamed of himself.
That’s kinda ridiculous in itself… particularly when a cnc router is better suited for that kind of job anyway (and maybe a mill for tubular shapes).
I USED TO enjoy his content, quite a bit, it gave me ideas.
Sadly, now almost every video he does I wonder if the whole thing is just “sponsored content”. I absolutely HATE how so many of his videos that could be good are just a segway to using the sponsor of the video instead of any free/opensource or otherwise locally hostable stuff.

Yeah, he’s very slick and entertaining, but his content feels really kinda not designed to push people toward privacy despite using that word in his videos. He does a good job teaching noobs like myself, but the vibe I get is not a good one.
I come around now and then.
The funny thing is I have referred a number of people over here but I remain mostly a lurker.
Most of my actual writing activity goes into GitHub issues and my own blog/videos, as I currently publish about 6000-8000 words worth of final content per week, while having the mental capacity for much less lol
Well I dont think creality ever open sourced their last printer despite being based open source code its been long past 6 months

Not at all I either missed the joke and or i’m completely oblivious. I would see it as joke except lot of youtubers go to Chinese factories to meet the companies these days.
