I have a Dell T5600 with a Dell PowerEdge H310 Perc controller and I want to switch to all SATA with SSD . Right now the only port that will accept the SSD is the sata going to the DVD drive.I’m new to this as I have been using a T5500 up till now. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, is your backplane able to handle SATA and/or SAS drives?
[Edit: Looks like the onboard raid software only accepts Official Dell SSD’s, and even flashing to IT might not help
