Dell R620: Disable Management Engine boot-up stall?

Hello,

I bought a Dell R620 Poweredge 1U rackmount server a little while back and upgraded it with some E5-2690s and 168GB DDR3 ECC ram about four years ago or so. Whenever I boot the thing though, I get stuck in this “Management Engine” related boot stall:

I haven’t had good luck finding anything on this on the Internet, and was hoping there was a flag I could disable in the BIOS somewhere that would stop it from stalling there so I don’t need physical access to the machine if it power-cycles. It’s on BIOS Revision 1.2.6 if that helps. Once I hit the F1 / F2 it works “fine” but this already duped me once into thinking that the thing died on me when the reality is it was my fold-out KVM that did so I’d just like to disable it.

Replace BIOS battery?
