I was planning on getting an S but now that the C is out, I wonder what the pros and cons of each are. The C is a bit smaller, and has a bottom bay for HHDs and PSU. It comes with 2 120mm fans whereas the Define S comes with 2 140mm fans.
What else can you all find?
Define S on Newegg

C for one reason and one reason only...
There we go, was it so difficult to put this fucking mesh back at R5? No, we need the open roof...
Otherwise they are pretty much the same. One have the PSU cover, like every case and it's dog, the other one doesn't.
It's funny how NZXT is still the only company, that actually uses the PSU cover for something...
PS:
Up to this day i still consider Arc Mini R2 the best case fractal ever made and eagerly await an update of it's larger brother Arc Midi R2 with removable optical bays and SSD brackets on the back...
I'd pick the define S and fill the front and bottom with fans and keep the top closed. And yea the fans are all 140 in the define S so all you get on C is psu shroud and smaller fans.
Unless you want to do a lot of liquid cooling Define C. The Define S does not have as good of a fan filter on the roof, and the S look disproportional unless you fill in the front part where the res mount is.
I agree 100%.
Sweet cases.
Define C mini is the best pick IMO, unless you're doing major watercooling you got space for everything you need, same look, smaller package.
I'm going to go with the standard C. The smaller case fans wont hurt, and it will look much neater than in the S
