Custom itx case

Not really worth a thread, but I figured I’d share the custom box I made for my (trans)portable sff desktop PC. Work has a rule that PCs are named after car models, so of course I chose DeLorean, and thus had to make the case from brushed stainless.

Look really cool. DeLorean fits it very well for the name.
How much time did it take you to build this?
Also, do you have a fan or vent hole on the rear or something like that?

About 4 hours to bend up the sheetmetal, finesse the fitment, etc. Probably 10 hours of piddling around in SolidWorks to design the sheetmetal and flat patterns.

The power supply and video card both have fans that push air out the rear. Those are the only exhaust, so all the air that comes in and over the CPU heatsink has to then pass through the video card or power supply. Temps have been fine though.
