Interesting. Let me do a bit of research and I’ll get back to you.
Is there a more detailed model number than Eurocom Sky X7C
? I’m going to be looking into the motherboard.

Quick searching found this:
Given that it’s a rebrand of the Clevo line, you might find more information by searching for the clevo model, which is P775TM1-G
EDIT: god, that thumbnail is creepy.
EDIT 2: your laptop doesn’t appear to be on the official supported list, but it’s probably worth giving it a try.
Also found this:

So that’s what I’ve got, I recommend trying one (or both) of those two tools and seeing what comes of it.
Sorry I can’t give you a sure thing, but there isn’t really anything out there about this machine on Linux.
Yeah, and that’s what’s really weird! Because the P775TM1-G is the standard go-to model for most Linux vendors including System 76, Tuxedo and Eurocom.
Thanks for the pointers. I am waiting to hear from Eurocom on this…
Maybe ask on the System76 IRC then?
But happy to help. These sort of little hardware issues always fascinate me.
