It is possible that it could be a bottleneck in some situations, though that is a pretty decent CPU, I personally would not worry about it too much, unless you want every last drop of power.
As far as I can tell, in games, most of the processing is done on the GPU, so basically all the CPU is doing is moving the data around anyways. I say overclock the CPU and see what you can get! :D
