VA is pretty much in between TN and IPS. You will get a bit of shift while looking at a VA from the side but the vertical angle doesn't impact the image as much as on a TN. So as long as you are centered in front of it you are fine.
Color is better on IPS but VA has the highest contrast, only OLED can go higher than that. For super critical color work I would go IPS. But for media consumption VA can look stunning! I actually do even photo and video stuff on a VA. Once it is calibrated it is fine.
