I know that Intel's Ivy Bridge CPU's had issues, and knew that the cause was the use of cheap thermal paste instead of fluxless solder for the die's heat-spreader, but what I didn't know was the magnitude. I found this guys video on YouTube, and he shows a neat little mod to replace the cheap paste and boy are his results drastic. Enjoy.
