Console Gamer going PC! - #1

I liked it :P

Well.... Ya ain't got bad luck like me :D

Glad you have decided to make the switch. I made it exactly 1 month ago today and don't regret it in the least bit.

Thanks to everyone who commented , I'M GETTING HYPED!

I don't know if I'm gonna get that power supply , it has alot of bad reviews.....

I'm just gonna get it and if its bad I'll return it

What, the cx500? I have not heard many poor reviews, I have one myself, and have never had any problem with it.

Oh in that case I'll buy it

I've had xbox since 07 and never got hacked. You may be doing something wrong lol.

Anyways, enjoy!

Because Fallout is one of the best games ever

Would you still like some suggestions? Id be willing to help!

Has a locked hex-core processor (True six core, not like the current FX series) but that isn't a problem, tweak the bus clock in the BIOS and watch the overall clock speed rise. Don't worry about the RAM, just leave it alone, the memory controller in the CPU will reset it down to 1066 MHz or 1333 MHz, either way, it should have enough room for you to clock the CPU to 3.5 GHz before it goes over 2133 MHz, if it doesn't then you should find the controls for the system bus to RAM multiplier and adjust it down until the RAM is at or around 2133 MHz. Do not change the voltage more than 5% or you will potentially damage your components as the motherboard is NOT designed for overclocking with voltage adjustment.

The second iteration of the Corsair Builder Series was much better than the first, and 600 W for the same price gives you overhead for adding a second graphics card, which actually works fairly well with the Radeon HD 7770. Also, the standard cards often overclock better than the so called GHz edition cards. And MSI has a really nice card designed for overclocking here.

I'll be getting their CX series of semi-modular 600W when I upgrade next. Can't wait to actually have a case that supports cable management, and a power supply that won't require me to bundle up the unused connectors and stuff them places.

Please, do. $480 goes much further with AMD than it does with Intel. Like, look at the build I suggested, you can have a system that will utterly crush mine for about what I spent on mine. And I also didn't buy a case or monitor for mine (I stuffed it in a modified HP Pavilion 752n) And the Radeon 7770 is an excellent card that far outperforms my GTX 650. Plus the Radeon 7770 supports crossfire, which the atx motherboards usually support.
