Computer won't boot after CPU upgrade

Hey all. I wanted to upgrade my old computer for a sorta light gaming and as a desk pc. It's a Hp computer with a nettle 2 mobo. Since the highest cpu it could take was an athlon 64 x2 5600+, i found a Moded bios which I will mention in the next post. I installed the bios and everything works fine. I ordered a phenom ii x2 560 be and put it in. The computer didn't boot up except for a cpu and system fans and some lights, but no display is shown. I put back my old cpu and the it worked just fine. Now Iv got a lot of assumptions, like maybe the bios didn't work, magbe the cpu is bad,. I need help please.

i really need some help

Are you sure your motherboard and BIOS works with that CPU? The first CPU you mention is on a different socket than the second CPU (AM2 vs AM2+/AM3).

I'm sorta. The Moded bios sales that it shud. I really need a way to get out of this. I wasted half my pocket money. Is there anyway u can add support to the bios?

Best bet is to contact Wiz - the chap who modded the bios file & get a list of all supported CPU's.
Hope for your sake the 560 cpu isnt a turd.

Ok. Now Iv got into a situation, and I need some help with the bios. Can anyone here just link me to a mobo bios which supports phenom ii x2 560 be but under 530 kb? Its a real challenge. I'd really like to know some am2 mobos that supports this.
