I am playing around with setting up a windows server 2016 cloud image with cloud init. I will be posting my progress, if any body has got this working and would like to share let me know. If not when I get it working I will share how I did it.

Putting a comment here, as I am casually interested in cloud init.
I use OpenStack which utilizes cloud-init. They have a little guide on how to do it:
