Clarifying ECC Behaviour on ASRock B450M/ac R2.0 Motherboard

Greetings, I am reviewing ECC support on the ASRock B450M/ac R2.0.

I aim to determine whether this board provides full ECC mode or only basic functionality such as error detection, reporting, and/or actual correction. From what I understand, the QVL should be treated as irrelevant here, since standard JEDEC-compliant ECC UDIMMs ought to behave correctly regardless of validation status.

I plan to test with a kingston ECC UDIMM kit (1x8GB) and would like to know what level of ECC behaviour others have observed. Any experience with this board on Windows 10 or on Linux distributions—especially in regard to whether correctable errors surface in logs—would be extremely helpful.

Thanks to anyone who can share insight on memory integrity with this board.
