Cheap Gaming laptop

I'm looking to buy a new laptop as my current one is not cutting it anymore. I need it to be able to play games like BF4, Minecraft and DayZ, although I don't care about the settings exept it needs to be 1080p, when it's on a laptop. I don't really care about screen size, I just need it to be 1080p.

It needs to be fairly portable, although I do realize that the pricerange is restrictive.

I have about 700-750 dollars to spend, as in Denmark everything is so much more fucking expensive. If you're using a danish site, I got about 5000 Kr. to spend although I can go up with 500-700 Dkr. if it's neccesary. here's a couple of danish sites, and though you may not understand it all, you should be able to make out the specs, otherwhise use an another site (preferebly british as they are closest to the actual value)

All help is greatly appreciated.

The new Core M cpus are about to hit the market, so I would wait for that. Even if you don't want something with one of them in it, they should make the previous gen stuff cheaper.

Does it have to be a laptop? Cheap and gaming laptop do not go in the same sentence, especially one that can run BF4. Especially at 1080p.

It does have to be a laptop yes, I have a fairly good desktop, however, as I travel a lot, I need a laptop that is capable of it, and I don't have a ton of money to spend. I do realize it's not an easy task, however, maybe with some vodoo magic it's possible.

Maybe you should look into games that are easier to run for when you are on the go. You aren't going to be able to get a laptop with a dedicated gpu for under $1,000, I don't imagine.

What about one with a decent APU? I don't need to run it at 60 FPS all the time, 40 is fine for me.

EDIT: If the screen is smaller than 15,6 inches I can live with 720p, even though the other is preferred.

You're gonna have to do some serious searching. I'll help you out IF you find one but I don't have the time to search, might have to be a used PC as well.

Try the Lenovo G505s. You may have to dig for it, but its on Amazon I think. Its got an A10, 6GB RAM, and a 1TB HDD. Its got a 15.6 inch screen, but idk the resolution. Its also only an inch thick so...that's kind of good for what it is

This is no cutting edge beast, but it isn't a bad PC. I have a friend who plays all his games on this and it never gives him any serious issues. You won't be playing bleeding edge titles on high in 1080p, but its only a 15 inch so 720p should look fine.

playing BF4 at 1080p on a laptop is not going to happen on your budget buy used. Your talking entry level laptop prices gaming laptops start at $1200 usd so if your in Denmark good luck tack on another 60%. An alienware laptop in the states starts at $1399 in demark it starts at kr 12,490 ($2139 usd). Its not going to happen at your budget if you get more money the lenovo Y50-70 would work at kr 9499 thats the only laptop I saw on there with discrete graphics its kr 1000 cheaper if you go 2gb gpu instead of 4gb.

I have a lenovo Y series with a Radeon 8870 I can play torchlight 2 at recent fps and halflife 2. Almost my entire steam library won't even install. My experience with gaming laptops is they suck generally and don't last very long (become obsolete quickly) Gaming on Laptops at decent resolutions and fps is extremely expensive you can build a tower pc for less money.

I found it to 7999 Kr. http://www.edbpriser.dk/baerbar/lenovo-y50-70-id-8475133.aspx I may be able to scratch that amount of money together.

That will give you 1080p high (not ultra) settings at 30-40 fps make sure its the gtx 860m model and not the older one there is a big difference. Also try going direct sale with lenovo they have better deals sometimes that same laptop is 6.999 at their site. Also check out sharkgaming.dk they sell the ROG and MSI gaming tops.

An APU is great, specially if you can get to a fx mobile APU (really hard to find though ) ... but... really it's for 720p gaming, and you'll need real fast ram

An A10 it's also a good choise, but always keep in mid that they have their limits, don't expect what only dedicated graphic can do at the moment...

my suggestions...

Sharkgaming is a good companie, however, they are masivly overpriced. I think I'll try and save up some more money, and maybe see if I can get my parents to sponser a little bit as I'm a poor and young student :P Then I'll probely try and get the lenovo Y50-70
