Changing power LED in define R4

I want to change the power button LED in my define R4, but haven't been able to find any guides or tips on how to do so.

 

The thing that lights up on the angled surface is attached to the button.

I am ready to push out the button but I'm worried I will break it!

Does anyone know some tips or a guide on how to do this? Shuld I just force it out? What kind of LED do I need for the replacement (voltage, wattage, size)?

Did you ever find out if/how to replace the LED?

I want to remove mine all together. I hate it.
