A awesome OS you guys will love called Chalet OS, it's a super light and stable deskop using a XFCE desktop with whisker menu and is a fantastic OS for re-newing old PC's or the newest PC's and comes with a lot of great applications.

 

The main Idea of the OS if for new people moving to Linux and gives them a familiar desktop to use.

Minimum system requirements for ChaletOS
  • CPU: 1GHz+
  • RAM: 256MiB+ for Desktop / LiveCD - 512MiB recommended
  • Hard drive space: 8GB
  • Graphics card and monitor capable of 1024×768 resolution

You forgot to mention which major distro and package management Chalet is based on.

It is a Xubuntu remix is it not?

Sorry my bad its based off Xubuntu and uses Ubuntu software centre, its very nice, light and stable Like I have said. :)
