I recently bought a refurbished Catalyst 2960-S and can’t get the express setup page to pull up in my browser. Instead I get a page titled “Accessing Cisco WS-C2960S-24PS-L ‘switch’”. There are options for looking at logs and troubleshooting.
I did a factory reset on it by holding down the mode button until the lights flashed and it rebooted and I’m still at this page.
This guide states that the express setup page should just load when going to 10.0.0.1 but instead I get what’s described above.
Thank you for any help you’re able to provide. And just to save everyone some time I should say that I know there’s a console and yes I know it’s better and I should really just telnet in and learn all of the commands but I’d still like to go for the express route. Please refrain from pointing out how wrong I am
