Case Fans Dead After AIO Install

I replaced the Noctua NH-U14S TR5-SP6 air cooler with the SilverStone XE360-TR5 AIO.

Since making this swap, all of the case fans have stopped working with the exception of the three case fans that are attached to the radiator.

I have tried many connecting the pump to many different headers (there is no AIO header just CPU_FAN, CPU_OPT, SYS_FAN, & SYS_PUMP_FAN), even trying the 4pin peripheral adapter cable, but it’s the same outcome.

Has anyone experienced something similar when trying to install an AIO?

Build:
-Gigabyte Aero D TRX 50
-AMD Threadripper 7960x
-Crucial 96GB DDR5-5600 RDIMM x4
-120mm & 140mm Lian Li SL-INF case fans (pwn)
-NVIDIA RTX 4090 x2
-M.2 NVMe x3

Sounds like your case fans got disconnected along the way.
Check the cabling to the case fans for proper connections.

As for the aio I’d guess the SYS_PUMP_FAN is for the aio and fans.

Thanks.
I did check the connections and they are all fine. It would be too much of a coincidence for all three fan clusters to stop working.

yes and no! If they were all daisy chained together and the connection to the mother board or power supply came undone then no if they are all on separate connectors then yes.

and since you were in there adding an aio it would be the first thing to do is check the connections as thing get banged around.

Have you check your uefi to see if the fan plugs are turned off? asus ryzen is under qfan control for some settings.

Does it make a difference if my Corsair HX1500i PSU is set to Multi-rail or Single-rail?

Didn’t know that was an option! Multi rail should be your best option!

Thank you! I didn’t realize I had options either! haah
