So, my dashcam kicked the bucket. Have a couple questions:

  1. Any more hackable than the others: I want when I drive into my garage - and it’s on battery - it is available so my NAS (unraid) can reach out and grab all the footage. I have an AP in the garage so bandwidth is not an issue.
  2. Anyone with direct experience on durability/video quality that could be recommended independent of #1?

Thank everyone - I could do a quick look - buy a 4k one and move on - but I’d rather have input from anyone who wants more control of the media produced.

I recommend BlackVue devices. They are a Korean brand and they have devices that do exactly what you want out of the box. Look at their 600 and 700 line of devices.
