Can't Get GTX 660ti To Work

I recently got a  EVGA GTX 660ti signiture 2, and it doesn't work. I install the card into my motherboard and when I boot up system, my screens are black. I returned the card and got the same brand, EVGA GTX 660ti signiture 2. That doesn't work either. I know it isn't pci 3.0 to pci 2.0 on my motherboard, because I had a Saphire 7870. It worked on my system until it blackscreened and started glitching out. I keep having to go  back to my GTX 550ti because it never fails. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

PC spects whith the GTX 660ti-

CPU-AmdPhenom II X4 965

CPU Cooler- CoolerMaster Vortex Plus

Motherboard-MSI 970A-G46

Ram-Kingston HyperX 8gb

HHD-500gb 7200 rpm

PSU-Corsair CX600

Remove the old video drivers from your system before installing the 660ti also uninstall the 550ti from your video devices.

Then Load the new drivers and it should all be good.

Hope it helped!

No, it didn't help. I don't think its the drivers. When I turn on my computer, nothing shows up, not even the bios. I did everything you told me to do and it didn't work. Does anyone have anymore ideas on how to fix my problem?

Probs a DOA card... call up the person you bought the card from and see if they can do anything if not im dumbfounded

Wow... First off , im sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Sistema (spanish for system) ... Man , that 660 ti is a great card.. Testing the card in another

system could rule out that its not another defective card or that its not  a compatability issue...

Evga support will tell you(to be sure its not dirver issue) to Download Driver Fusion from http://www.treexy.com/products/driver-fusion.aspx and run it be sure to select AMD - Display, NVIDIA- Display, and NVIDIA - PyhsX. Then click analyze and then delete. Restart the computer when prompted. Reinstall the latest official driver version, please choose Custom Install and make sure that the "Enable Clean Install" box is checked.  Also, please uncheck the HD Audio driver found on the list and click on next to install the drivers.  Also note that you should custom install the driver and physx only also choose the  "clean install" option  ...

In all honesty you shouldnt be having this many issues, my suggestion is just something very basic, make sure both of the 6-pin connectors are plugged into the top of the GPU and make sure that the GPU is firmly placed within the PCI slot.
