hello, i use nvidia and kdenlive and i can render video’s on the gpu. i was wondering if this is also possible with an amd gpu?. i need too upgrade my gpu and amd is looking tempting also the new 1660 from nvidia is appealing.

I know that Handbrake has an option to do that but you might not get the performance you want if you don’t have the right drivers.
Short answer, yes. Depends on what encoder you are trying to use. Could look at your current setting and then search the web or youtube to see how or if you can use that encoder and if not what is an viable alternative.
Probably want to give more detail on what you are doing and the settings you are using if you want more people to respond so they can give you feedback without trying to guess what you are trying to do or make suggestions based on your requirements.
