Can´t get a proper volume with my microphone

I am using a MXL 2006 together with a Behringer MIC2200 Ultragain and I have problems with getting a good volume on my PC. If I set gain and output to max, it will give me below average volume, but then I have almost no chance of messing around with the settings.

If I use them directly in my speakers they are fine, I put gain to roughly 80% and the volume as well and I get a nice and clear signal, so I think the Problem is with my PC.

Currently I use this setup:

MXL 2006 connected over a XLR cable to my Behringer and out of it with a XLR to 3.5 cinch into my PC, due to lacking other options except for USB. My PC has a onboard soundcard that runs with realtek drivers. Feel free to ask for more information.

Give me more info on your motherboard. Also, are you using the mic input or the line in?

I´ve tried it with both line in and mic input. Line in seems to give better results. My PC has a MSI 970A-G46 Motherboard
