Just need to know if I can use a bluetooth speaker using the bluetooth on my mobo for general purposes like gaming and listening to music.
It should work as long as your OS picks up the speaker via bluetooth

it should work if your motherboard supports BT 4.0+. Earlier revisions than that didn't quite have the bandwidth for stereo PCM audio streams.
