I'm currently with Time Warner - San Diego (which has the monopoly as a home broadband provider in my area). They provided me with Motorola SB6121 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - Motorola Retail Packaging which occassiononly locks up or stops broadcasting WiFi and when I log into the firmware, has slowed down to a crawl. I usually rememdy those issues by power cycling the device.
I don't know why I haven't gotten around to replacing my provider supplied rent-a-modem, but I'm interested in it now. I could use some help with suggestions on which to get. I work from home 75% of the year when I'm not on travel and I rely on a steady internet connect. Thoughts?
